This year [2017] God’s instruction to me was to help people learn how to surrender to him. The benefits to surrendering to the divine are enormous but people often confuse it with the kind of surrender that is more human in nature. An example, would be giving into the enemy. Another aspect is the consideration and fear of becoming powerless. Or, giving up one’s identify and personal preferences.
When clearing with people in a spiritual healing session, I can see where there are subconscious issues blocking their ability to surrender. I have found, however, that is a process that ends up deepening over time after letting go of the blocks within as well as with practice. It’s no different than building any other muscle using discipline. Until it becomes a habit and second nature, there is vacillation between trying to control and surrender.
The more I have learned to surrender, the more magic I have been experiencing in my life. It puts me in a better position to receive gifts from God. Here is Archangel Michael’s comments on the subject:
Bring in the Magic
When you invite God into the mix, there is always substance. Much success exists as show only without God in the mix. The success may be fleeting or, at least, the feeling of success is.
When God is at the center of all, all decisions and all action, there is much creation with love at its core. When you operate out of and build from love, true magic happens. Much, as well as many, are blessed when something has love at its core.
So, in each day and before each activity, invite God in first and see what impossibilities become possible. Allow God to be the beginning, as well as end of each day and project.
Therefore, invite God in to run your day, meeting or endeavor. Upon completion, thank God for his role and contribution. Step aside and see the flourish. Allow God to permeate all and all will be magical.
