A Thanksgiving Message From God For Your Heart
As we move into Thanksgiving this week, I asked God if there was a message to share with you. What came through was simple, tender, and deeply supportive and appropriate, even if you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in your region. May it meet you exactly where you are and offer strength, comfort, and renewal for the days ahead.
Message from God
Beloved one,
On this day, many set aside for thanksgiving, I invite you into a quieter, deeper kind of gratitude. Not only for what has gone well and not only for the blessings that are easy to recognize, but for the entire tapestry of your life.
I have walked with you through every moment. The ones you celebrate and the ones you would rather forget. The days you felt successful, and the nights you felt alone. None of it has been wasted. All of it has carried you to this doorway in time.
Today, I ask you to pause and notice how far you have truly come.
Notice the ways your heart has softened. Notice where you no longer react as you once did. Notice the courage it has taken simply to keep saying yes to life, to love, and to the next step in front of you. I see it all. I have never missed a single tear or a single victory, even the ones you did not recognize as victory.
Many believe gratitude is a list of good things written on paper. That is one form of gratitude, and it is helpful. Yet there is a deeper gratitude that is more like resting in my arms and saying, even without all the answers, that you trust you are held.
This is thanksgiving at the level of the soul.
It is the moment you stop fighting your own story and begin to see that I have been weaving light through every chapter, even the most difficult ones. It is the moment you allow me to use everything for your good, not only the parts that make sense to your mind.
On this Thanksgiving, I ask you to lay down three burdens.
First, lay down the burden of trying to fix everything and everyone. You were never meant to carry the world by yourself. I did not send you to Earth to be crushed under the weight of humanity. I invited you to walk with me as we bring light where it is ready to be received. There is a difference.
You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to be human and holy at the same time. You are allowed to let other souls carry their part. When you try to carry what is not yours, you become tired and discouraged, and you begin to doubt whether the light is winning. When you carry only what is yours, you discover that my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Second, lay down the burden of regretting your past. Many of the moments you judge the most harshly are the very moments that ripened your compassion and deepened your wisdom. You see only your surface mistakes. I see the roots that were loosened, the pride that was humbled, and the heart that became more open and real.
Nothing in your life has surprised me. I have never had to rewrite your destiny in panic. I have always known how to turn even your missteps into a path that leads you home. Give me your regret. In exchange, I will give you understanding, gentleness, and the ability to extend the same mercy to others that I am extending to you.
Third, lay down the burden of worrying about how it will all turn out. Your world is in a time of great revealing and great shifting. You have felt this in your body and in your life. Old structures are changing. Old identities are dissolving. It is easy to look at the surface and fear that you are losing ground.
In truth, much of what is falling away is what has kept you from the very life your heart has been asking for. You are not losing your future. You are losing what cannot go with you into the new one.
I invite you to be grateful in advance for what I am already preparing, even if you cannot yet see it with your physical eyes. Gratitude in advance is a powerful act of trust. It opens doors that fear keeps closed. It tunes your heart to the frequency of the new life that is arriving.
So on this Thanksgiving, sit with me for a moment and breathe.
Breathe as one who is already loved. You do not need to earn my love by serving harder, clearing more, or proving your worth through sacrifice. You are loved because you are of me. You came from my heart, and you remain in my heart always.
Breathe as one who is already forgiven. The ledger you hold against yourself is not the one I hold. Where you see failure, I see learning. Where you see delay, I see preparation. Where you see brokenness, I see places where my light can pour through you without obstruction.
Breathe as one who is already guided. You are not walking blindly into your future. I am not withholding direction. There are things you do not yet know because it is not yet time to act on them. That is not abandonment. That is timing. When the next step is needed, it will come. Often it will come gently, through a nudge, a knowing, or a simple sense of peace about one small action you can take today.
Let your thanksgiving this year be simple:
- Thank you for my life exactly as it is and exactly as it has been.
- Thank you for what is leaving that no longer serves me.
- Thank you for what is arriving that I may not yet see.
- Thank you that I am not alone in any of it.
As you anchor this gratitude, notice how your nervous system softens, your mind quiets, and your heart feels more spacious. This is not your imagination. This is my presence meeting you in a very real way.
From that place of inner thanksgiving, any outer celebration you share will carry more light. Whether your table is full or simple, whether you are surrounded by many people or spending the day quietly, know that I am with you.
I bless your body with renewal.
I bless your mind with clarity and peace.
I bless your heart with comfort and courage.
I bless your path with ease, provision, and joyful surprise.
You are part of the new world that is being born simply by being who you are in truth. For this I am grateful.
With unending love,
God
