Business is serious. Serious business I hear. Day in and day out, the daily grind. Everyone is trying their best to work, work, work. Doing business is such a struggle. It is a grind. It is the major endeavor of life to keep the world working, or so you think.
Business need have its proper perspective. It is an important part of life and I don’t mean to diminish it’s importance. What I wish to clarify for you at this time is it’s relevance and proper place in society.
Business has it’s purpose. It has a role to play in the world, in society and in your life. Whether you own a business, work for a business or benefit from business, it has it’s place. What needs to change, however, is how business is run and approached. It needs to be valued for what it is but it should not be valued over and above other aspects of life. It needs to be built in balance. It needs to be expressed in balance. It needs to be in balance for optimal rewards for all. For all business that is built out of balance will perish at one time or another. Those businesses built in balance will flourish as the times are changing.
A new way of business is beginning to emerge and you must heed this warning. When you do anything out of balance, you create imbalance. When you have imbalance, you attract imbalance. This is reflected not only in the “books”, but in the health of the company and it’s employees.
If you wish to build a business in this day and age, you must do so in balance and integrity. Without those two elements, you are likely to suffer in one way or another. Heed this warning now as the economy is changing and business needs to change with it to survive and flourish.
