When my father died, I had a number of unique experiences that caused me to understand the process of death better as well as provide me with comfort. I meditated upon learning of my father's passing and was told that my father was already in heaven and that he would come to me and share with me some monumental news. My father came to me the week after he passed and shared with me that "heaven is better than the best day on earth". I found comfort in that.
It was also communicated to me that when he passed, his late mother and brother escorted him "home". At the same time, my mother's late parents were assisting my mother during this time. My father was cremated and when we buried his ashes, I noticed that his entire family tree attended the burial.
The following is something else I learned from another visitor from the "other side" the week after that: "I see your loss and I know you suffer. Allow me to introduce myself. I am an escort of God. I help transition the dying and transition the living. This has been a big change for both your Dad and you alike. This is no easy adjustment for either of you. It is my job to help you both transition as best you can. Your Dad is having an easier time of this than you as he has been set free. He is free to roam the planet at will without restrictions while you, on the other hand, are left behind in the same world with the same limitations as before. Death is not an easy transition. Some never recover. You will do fine. This is a new adjustment that will come together as time passes."
The rest I received was too personal to share here but I hope the above in general is helpful to any of you who have lost a loved one. I know for me, I continue to miss my father's earthly presence, but I know he is happier and still around my family and me. He still continues to communicate with me occasionally and his insights are always helpful.
