The time has come for me to be taken down from the cross and let that lifetime go. We all need to move on and live the life we are to live today. I appreciate being honored. You must realize, however, that circumstances are not always what they seem. Leaving me up on the cross to remember a time long gone actually holds you all back in some regard or another. I appreciate being revered but it is not necessary. What you need do is honor yourself as you do me. That is what is most important.
Please take me down from the cross and allow me to rest in peace. By reliving that experience, you keep it alive in me. What I would like do is move beyond that experience to peace.
Being reminded of crucifixion solves nothing. Crucifixion is a horrible thing as is all torture to another human being.
By letting go of the past, you allow more peace to emerge in your life. By living in peace, you allow more peace to emerge in your life and the lives of others.
I ask you to live in peace and to not continue to relive torture and degradation.
